About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about writing clean, efficient code and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to build features that serve thousands of users. You will participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and help establish best practices across the team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and QA to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following team coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, share knowledge, and mentor junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions and help evaluate technology choices for new projects.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services where required.
• Continuously improve development processes, tools, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Go.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Contributions to open-source projects or an active GitHub profile.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools.
