Product Manager.

About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and customer-focused Product Manager to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our product portfolio. You will own the product roadmap, prioritise features based on user feedback and business impact, and work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional products.

As a Product Manager, you will serve as the voice of the customer within the organisation. You will conduct market research, analyse competitive landscapes, and leverage data to make informed decisions about what to build next. Your ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term vision will be critical to the success of the product.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about solving user problems, comfortable with ambiguity, and skilled at aligning diverse stakeholders around a shared product direction.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company objectives.
• Gather and prioritise product requirements by engaging with customers, internal stakeholders, and market research.
• Write clear and detailed product requirement documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
• Analyse product metrics and user behaviour data to measure feature impact and inform future decisions.
• Conduct competitive analysis and stay informed about industry trends relevant to the Nigerian and African markets.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product review sessions within an Agile framework.
• Present product updates, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, preferably within a technology company.
• Demonstrated ability to define and launch successful products or features.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data and metrics to drive product decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for articulating product vision and requirements.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile or Scrum environment.
• Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Asana, Notion, or Linear.
• Deep empathy for users and a commitment to understanding their needs through research and feedback.

Nice to Have

• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification.
• Product management certification from a recognised body (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, Product School).
• Experience building products for African or emerging markets.
• Technical background or working knowledge of software development processes.
• Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
