About the Role

We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to manage the end-to-end movement of goods, materials, and products across our supply chain. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, transporters, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure efficient, timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in logistics or supply chain operations in Nigeria, understands the challenges of moving goods across Nigerian roads and states, and can manage multiple shipments and stakeholders simultaneously.

This is a role for someone who is organised, resourceful, and comfortable working under pressure to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics including scheduling, routing, and tracking of shipments.
• Manage relationships with transport vendors, haulage companies, and third-party logistics providers.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure stock availability.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, waybills, and delivery records.
• Track deliveries in real time and proactively resolve delays, route issues, or damages.
• Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with logistics vendors.
• Prepare logistics reports on delivery performance, costs, and any operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant transport regulations and product handling requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution operations in Nigeria.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage several shipments simultaneously.
• Proficiency with logistics tools, tracking systems, or ERP modules.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing vendors and transport partners.
• Knowledge of Nigerian road networks, inter-state transport routes, and common logistics challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data management.

Nice to Have

• Certification in supply chain management (CSCP, CILT) or project management.
• Experience with cold chain logistics or hazardous materials handling.
• Familiarity with customs clearance and import/export procedures through Nigerian ports.
• Experience coordinating last-mile delivery operations in Nigerian cities.
