About the Role

We are looking for a dependable Dispatch Rider to handle daily deliveries and collections using a company motorcycle. The dispatch rider will be responsible for transporting documents, packages, and goods to clients, vendors, and partners across the city in a timely and safe manner.

The ideal candidate is experienced in motorcycle operations within Nigerian cities, knows the road networks well, and can manage multiple delivery stops efficiently. They must be safety-conscious, honest, and able to handle items with care.

This is a fast-paced, outdoor role well-suited for someone who enjoys being on the road and takes responsibility for timely, secure delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver packages, documents, and goods to clients and partners across the city.
• Plan daily delivery routes to maximise efficiency and meet delivery timelines.
• Ensure all items are handled carefully and delivered in good condition.
• Maintain the company motorcycle in clean, roadworthy condition with daily checks.
• Obtain recipient signatures or proof of delivery for all dispatches.
• Communicate delivery status updates to the operations team throughout the day.
• Comply with traffic rules and wear appropriate safety gear (helmet, reflective vest) at all times.

Requirements

• Valid rider's permit or motorcycle licence.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dispatch rider or motorcycle courier.
• SSCE/WAEC certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent knowledge of city roads, shortcuts, and landmarks in the operational area.
• Ability to use Google Maps or similar navigation tools on a smartphone.
• Honest, punctual, and physically fit for daily riding.
• Good communication skills and a polite, professional attitude.

Nice to Have

• Experience with logistics or delivery apps (Gokada, MAX, Kwik, etc.).
• Basic motorcycle maintenance skills (chain adjustment, oil checks, tyre pressure).
• Familiarity with multiple cities beyond the primary operational area.
