About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our office, facility, or premises. The cleaner will be responsible for daily cleaning tasks, restroom upkeep, waste disposal, and ensuring the workspace meets health and hygiene standards.

The ideal candidate is hardworking, reliable, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, presentable environment. Prior cleaning experience in an office, commercial, or hospitality setting in Nigeria is preferred.

This is an essential support role that directly contributes to the comfort and wellbeing of everyone in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise all office areas including workstations, meeting rooms, reception, and common areas daily.
• Maintain restrooms in clean, hygienic condition with adequate supplies (soap, tissue, hand sanitiser).
• Empty waste bins, sort recyclables where applicable, and dispose of waste properly.
• Mop, sweep, and vacuum floors; dust furniture, shelves, and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors regularly.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged fixtures, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow health and safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Requirements

• SSCE/WAEC certificate or basic education.
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and proper handling procedures.
• Physical fitness for tasks involving standing, bending, and lifting.
• Attention to detail and high standards of personal hygiene.
• Honest, punctual, and reliable.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a corporate or hotel environment.
• Knowledge of specialised cleaning procedures (carpet cleaning, floor polishing).
• Ability to operate floor polishing machines or pressure washers.
