About the Role

We are hiring a Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems across our premises. This includes water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and sanitary installations. The plumber will ensure all systems function efficiently and address issues promptly to avoid disruptions.

The ideal candidate is experienced with plumbing work in Nigerian buildings, can diagnose and fix faults quickly, and maintains high standards of workmanship. Familiarity with borehole systems and water treatment is an advantage.

This is a hands-on role for a skilled tradesperson who is reliable, responsive, and committed to quality work.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain water supply pipes, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures.
• Diagnose plumbing faults such as leaks, blockages, and low water pressure, and carry out repairs.
• Install and maintain sanitary ware including toilets, sinks, showers, and water heaters.
• Maintain borehole pumps, overhead and underground water tanks, and water distribution systems.
• Perform regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify and prevent potential issues.
• Read plumbing diagrams and blueprints to guide installation and repair work.
• Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and maintenance schedules.

Requirements

• Trade certificate in Plumbing and Pipe Fitting from a recognised institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of practical plumbing experience.
• SSCE/WAEC certificate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes, water systems, and drainage principles.
• Experience with both PVC and metal piping systems.
• Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces or at heights when required.

Nice to Have

• NABTEB qualification in plumbing trades.
• Experience with borehole drilling, pump installation, or water treatment systems.
• Knowledge of fire sprinkler or fire suppression system maintenance.
• Experience working in large commercial or industrial facilities.
